Dita Von Teese
The most famous burlesque performer of our time – Dita has brought high-glamour striptease to the masses. One of the most hardworking women we know; she is constantly in demand all over the world.
Dita controls every element of her performance – from the lighting and music to the costume and aesthetic. So much time, dedication and effort goes into every detail – and the result is a highly polished spectacle of glamour, flirtation and fun.
Some of Dita’s performance highlights of 2010 include an appearance at Erotica in London, a fabulous show at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans, and a sell-out show in December at The Roxy, LA. (Click here for images…)
She also produced a playful, sensual interactive website with Perrier, and her image is printed on their bottles and cans worldwide. She took her Be Cointreauversial show to Sydney, Australia, and featured in a series of glamorous Cointreau webisodes.
A beautiful pink box, My Private Cointreau Coffret was also created, designed to hold a Cointreau bottle, accompanied by two cocktail glasses and a shaker, but also to be used as a keepsake or jewellery box. Many of you will have seen Ali Mahdavi’s exquisite images of Dita that publicised not only the coffret, but also the opening of Dita’s exclusive members club in Paris – Cointreau Privé, which opened for one month from the end of September. Dita discussed these projects, as well as her appearance in Jean Paul Gaultier’s Couture Week show, in an interview with 21CB in September.
We have no doubt that Dita has many exciting things to unveil in the coming year. She hasn’t disappointed us yet!
