WHAT KATIE DID: September ‘SHOWGIRL’ Range – A SNEAK PREVIEW!
21st Century Burlesque Magazine has documented the contemporary burlesque scene…
We are delighted to be able to show you the beautiful new range coming in September from What Katie Did. We could go on about the exquisite fabrics and sumptuous colour and shape, but we think the pictures say it all…
The original Showgirl corset was launched as a limited edition range in Summer 2008, the original of which was designed and made overnight when Mario Testino required a grey and pink corset for a Vogue shoot.
WKD have now expanded on the Showgirl theme for AW09, and have spent a little more time on it than they did on the original!
The Showgirl corset are all made to the Laurie design which is the sister corset of Morticia. It features gored hips which add more emphasis to the waistline giving a more defined shape.
All of these heavenly creations will be available from between £165 and £185.
They are made of 100% silk with 100% cotton lining, and all are made with steel boning.
All of the images were taken at Millers Residence.
Showgirl corsets will be available in reduced waist sizes 18″ to 30″ from early September 2009.
